St John’s Shopping Centre is the largest covered shopping mall in all of Liverpool. The retail institution has been trading since 1969, the same year Liverpool’s favourite sons released their classic Abbey Road album. While the world has changed a good deal in the intervening years, the centre continues to lure Merseyside bargain hunters in their droves. Having recently undergone a multimillion-pound redevelopment, St John’s has been brought in line with other, more recent facilities in the city. Home to 100 retailers, including many of the biggest and brightest names on the High Street, the complex counts book stores, stationery shops, electronic outlets, fashion boutiques, confectioners, jewellers and hair salons among its stores. Visitors can also choose from a number of food and drink options, among them Chef Patron, Dunkin Donuts, Chopstix, KFC, McDonald’s, Greggs and Subway. The popular St John’s Market, housed within the centre, is currently undergoing a £2 million refit which will see the addition of a modernised entrance on Elliot Street and 20 new stalls.

In the beginning u might find it difficult to find where to find things in the mall.. It might be a bit confusing..the food court is almost in the middle and has an amazing variety of restaurants frm Mcdonals , KFC , subway and some Thai restaurants . Might be a bit crowded during lunch times though. Better to visit a bit earlier to lunch as seatings get filled fast.
